I've put in a long day, have my car ready for tomorrow, and have even packed my lunch. I'm not the least bit concerned about biig brother watching me and I really don't care what numbers are thrown at me because I know I will either hit them (they're realistic) or the company will make an adjustment (everyone will buy in to them being unrealistic).

Since you posted this in the middle of the day you make it easy for me to prove that you are not one of those great reps. And you justify big brother. And I can see why you complain about the targets being so impossible for you because it's obvious you don't want to work and just want money tossed at you while being reassured that you really mean something to pharma.

Can you leave the company? And can we take your salary, benefits, and car and apply all that money to a national meeting somewhere other than NJ? Maybe they can name it after you in your half ass I can't make it work honor.

But good luck to you. I'll try to wave to you next time I go up in front of the group and get an envelope with money in it.

To have never posted on here before, you sure do like to write a lot. And to the other guy's point, you do seem to be drinking a lot of the kool-aid, so I can see why they would think you're jw. Anyway, who the Hell works 12 hour days, you need to plan a little better!

Like most reps I haven't posted anything on Cafe Pharma. I like to think I'm above the anonymous complaining and finger pointing that takes place on these boards. But this post really got to me. I've had 12 hour days in the field this week and don't have any real complaints. I've got a number one product in EpiCeram, and my Promiseb is starting to pick up. I probably won't hit my numbers and my bonus isn't going to be good, if I have one at all. But I did have some really good bonuses in the last few trimesters that I probably didn't have to be paid considering we're really a start up. BUT I make good money. And I drive a good free car. And I know a lot of reps at other companies who hate their managers and a growing number who are out of work. For the jackass who put the quote above together, go ahead and stop working. Go all commission. Clearly the only thing that motivates you is a bonus, not the salary you already get. (Seriously, are you getting paid to be on call or something? Go out and work.) And don't for a second think you are one of those great reps the company can't afford to lose, because you aren't. I could outsell you with my cell phone in bed on a sick day and you'd probably be bitching and moaning about something else.

This isn't a great time, we all know it. But it's better than being at all the other places that are for sale, going under, or being bought by someone else. And if it's so much greater everywhere else, or this place sucks so much, then get off Cafe Pharma and jump on Monster. By putting these posts up you're not making us the type of company we wanted to be when we first met in Chicago, you're just making us drug reps.

You say you're working 12 hour days even when you know you aren't getting a bonus? You are either stupid or a poor salesperson, and it's likely you are both. Now get out there and put some more hours in towards making no bonus!

Got a call about a position with this company a few of weeks ago. Decided not to pursue. Never heard of this place, is it a good place to be now?

Primus Pharmaceuticals is a complete joke of a company. Limbrel and Fosteum are "medical foods," they are not FDA approved, but regulated like all food- they are GRAS approved- which is what over the counter supplements are.

Company is managed horribly, the RSD manages the sales force like a contract sales force. They give you a call list that is about five years old and expect you hit every target, which is OBGYN is nearly impossible with huge territories.

401K is offered, no company match.

Paper based, you only get call credit with signature cards- no signature- no call.

Overall, sales reps are very unhappy and they have a extremely high turnover of reps. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The company is very unethical in their marketing practice, every study shared is performed in-house. Just a complete joke!

Can anyone speak t the base salary range for the position?
Car?
Car allowance? mileage?
Do benefits start right away or do you have to wait until the first of the month after you start?
