    Hi,
I am looking into an open pediatric nutrition rep position in cherry hill NJ and was hoping for some honest feedback on the health of the company and the position itself. Please, only serious answers as my current company will be undergoing layoffs in the next months.

    I really appreciate it!

You will never make a ton of money. And because you weren't around in the old days, you won't feel like you've lost anything. You won't have to feel like you're being treated like a 5 year old with all the micromanaging, because you won't know any different. If you came from a company that gave individual market share and individual bonus, good luck, you will be frustrated. The pay is based on district performance mostly. So the top reps get taken for granted, the bottom reps get hell, and the middle reps skate to retirement. The company is solid. If you like your manager that's 3/4 of the battle. Samples will be shipped in for you to your offices, so no need to worry about lugging samples around. Most likely if your hospital rep is good and has a lot of business you will be ok. If the surrounding hospitals use the competitive products, it will be a struggle. Unless of course you are ok with crying to your docs, that you have no hospital business, so please, please, please help me.

Everything said in the previous post is spot on. The only thing that has changed is that they now use retail sales for bonuses. It is the most ridiculous way to bonus that is causing much anger within the salesforce. Good luck.....I think.

Sounds like this is a low entry level job. What high end rep would sign on to this? No bonus at all?

    ...has the industry changed?

Why does the Charlotte position keep turning over? It's been posted about 3-4 times in that many years.....manager? Market? Abbott has the market!

The sales leaders of our company are out of their minds. They are so disconnected from the sales force it's scary. Are you kidding me with Go and Grow. I can't wait to get my spiff, Yippie
