Natera going with an IPO?

    atherotech, hdl, many other labs closing doors and getting sued. natera employees should see the writing on the wall. as a former employee i saw this coming awhile ago and so did a few managers who confided in me. i only hope........ks and other management just happen to come interviewing where I now work. kharma.......delicious.

    what is sad is that the people who knew what was happening - regional directors and above really knew. They get out in time. That is why there was a mass exodus in management. Its the people who need jobs that are getting screwed.

    Where is the cake? I hear that there was no cake served at the NSM this year. So sad. Everything is going down hill. There used to be cake! More cake!

    They'll be your new boss soon enough because you're a putz and they're winners. A putz like you needs to be given a lot of direction and coaching. Wash, rinse, repeat!

We include support for physicians, as well as genetic counseling as part of every purchase. Our goal is to expand physician-supported access to breast and ovarian cancer genetic risk information for every person, everywhere. Our office and CLIA/CAP accredited laboratory is located in Burlingame, CA.

    We are currently seeking a Clinical Field Specialist to create and implement strategic business plans to grow revenue quickly in the East, Midwest, and West geographies.

    Responsibilities

    • Prove effective prospecting, cultivating and maintaining of key relationships
    • Effectively play a critical role in the success of the organization by focusing sales efforts on currently marketed products and new product launches
    • Assess the needs of medical professionals and staff members with a focus on consultative sales, coordination of logistics, and problem solving
    Requirements

    • 3+ years physician sales experience in diagnostic laboratory business (preferably in a genetics laboratory)
    • Proven track record of success in establishing new market and new products and increasing revenue quickly
    • Award winning and record breaking sales record
    • Background in medical or biological sciences (clinical diagnostics preferred)
    • Market knowledge and experience selling to OB/GYN or MFM (strongly preferred)
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers
    • Effective time management skills required with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize opportunity required
    • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; Gmail; Sales Force.com
    • Will be exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated and results oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically
    • Must act with a sense of urgency, with a focus on closing business
    • Be confident they can provide record breaking growth, create and implement successful sales strategies and desire to play a critical role in the success of the organization
    • Have a strong desire to work in a startup environment and must work independently with an internal drive to be successful
