The Fat Lady has sung and Elvis has left the building. Mike Baker got fired. I mean retired. Its like the new FRX has taken over the North Pole and told Santa to take a walk. This ship is way past hitting the iceberg and taken on water, it has sunk and is heading for the bottom. Oh well, Merry Christmas and Good Selling!

    Yes. I heard this.

Does anyone know when the posting will come out for his job?

    I'd like to apply.

Mike announced his retirement a month ago. It's likely the changes may have affected his timeline but he wasn't fired.

Anyone who carries a hatred toward Mike is a sorry soul. What could u possibily hate him for? For being loyal to a single Company for his entire career? Or gracefully allowing power to shift to new people? Or because he dressed differently and knew how to have some fun while doing his job?

Or is it because he was more successful and well liked than your sorry soul will every be?

Most people have no idea how much money Mike Baker made and saved this company over the years. His customers liked and respected him. He used those relationships to saved other people's asses many times.

Man, whoever hates Mike Baker must have a miserable life, because they have to look real hard for something to hate. Mike, God Bless in retirement.

Merry Chritmas to all, especially the haters. May you find some happiness in something other than the joy you think you get by tearing others down.

I worked there in early 90's for over ten years. Forest was just ramping up back then. Mike was the best! He cared about his company and his people. Nothing bad to say about him. Good luck Mr Baker and enjoy.

Correct. Mike always treated everyone with respect. He was the ultimate company man. He should stay and some of the others(Eh, JL, GA) should retire. The company would be better off.

You really like this guy huh? LOL
He hired my father. I remember going to his house for dinner when I was about 7 years old, he hired my dad as national sales manager a few days after the dinner. Good Guy

He hired my father back in the mid-nineties. I remember going to his house for dinner. My father was hired as national sales manager, he worked his way up to this position from field Rep. THEN, my mother became DEATHLY ILL, and she needed 24/7 care, hooked up to IVs on the couch, weak as a kitten. My dad was fired because they wouldn't give him pay while he watched over my sick mother, we then plummeted into debt and lost our house and he was fired when I was 14. He then picked up a nasty drug habit and over dosed and died. Forest Pharmaceuticals couldn't have helped my family? After all, my father generated hundreds of thousands for them in sales and they turned their back on him. I'm extremely ashamed of this company and their lack of compassion that you say Mr. baker has. I'm not saying the bakers had anything to do with this, but who knows. I can never ask my father what really happened.

Chris Toland was one of the finest people I have ever known! We started our pharmaceutical careers about the same time with OJF and both got promoted into the DM slot after Forest acquired OJF and Forest decided to add 6 DM's at once. Chris continued to grow and expand his career. My heart goes out to Renee, Ryann and John. As for the post above, I can see how difficult your viewpoint is but keep in mind that Mike Baker did not run Forest Labs and decisions regarding your Dad would have been made by people at higher levels than Mike. May Chris rest in peace!

I should have thought more before writing what I did, i should have done more research.. The Bakers are phenomenal people, that's for sure.
To whoever wrote such kind words above, thank you, you have no clue how good it feels to hear this.
