A recruiter called me about an opportunity with Leo. I work for a larger company but I'm tired of the constant layoffs here.

What is LEO like? Compensation good? Products good? Do DM's know what they are doing or are they used car salesmen? Do you have POAs where you have to dance like a monkey? What is the car? 401k match?

LEO is a good company to work for. It's not a perfect company, but its not like the current situation you are describing. The culture of people is great! They really do a good job at hiring good people. Depending on your experience level, the compensation can be good, but they also give good annual raises to your base salary when you do well and achieve job title bumps, so that is in your hands. Products are good, and unique, which makes talking about them on a daily basis likely more tolerable than other me-too products we compete with. I think most of the DM's are good at letting you do your job, and stepping back. Simply put, we are adults here, so just do your job and they won't bother you. We do have POA's, but no monkey dancing is required. You may have to do a little role-playing, but whoopdy-do...Car is a Ford Fusion, or Escape. 401K match, yes. I would suggest taking the interview, it's definitely a company worth taking the interview. Good luck!

I agree with the above post too. Every company has its challenges. New upper management and we are all learning together. LEO has great products and really good insurance coverage. The new copay cards are working wonders where you can get a commercial drug for a reasonable price if it’s covered or not covered. I’d say see what they have to offer too. Some territories are large and derm experience is good but not required. Good luck
