Russian owned since 2003. US sales force starting with 12 reps and 1 manager. 4 men from BMS started this as a chance to market in US with dreams of expanding with more products in future. Contract job now, so may end. Only have 11 on board and 1 quit. Territories are way too big. Real nice people.

If Ixempra sales are still abysmal and they are not supporting the generation of additional data (eg., clinical trials) and publications to strengthen it's position in breast cancer or support its use in other taxane sensitive cancers (eg., epothilones were developed to be superior to taxanes), then this product and its US affiliate will struggle to ever succeed.

Perhaps the 1 rep who quit, actually didn't quit, but was reassigned to a position in Siberia. That's what can happen with Russian owned companies. :)

This is the first organization in my career that I witnessed rep after rep quitting, some without other opportunities. This was the most toxic environment that I ever experienced. John McKinney was (by far) the most mean-spirited, nasty and condescending manager that I ever experienced.
It was no surprise to learn that he had been previously fired by Amgen and Dendreon. Instead of him learning he refused to changed, and continued to turn reps into compliance or look/create opportunities to set them up.
This could have been a very rewarding, challenging and lucrative career, but Rich and John McKinney are not leaders. Neither of them have a clue about oncology or human decency!
