Worst benefits of any company I have ever worked for...period! Pathetic considering how big the company is.. If you want the best benefit package it will cost you $250 per pay period for medical, then another $70 for dental and $30 for vision. (For family coverage).. This "best" choice has a $2000 deductible before any of the coverage kicks in.. Also.. Your prescription coverage is rolled into and is part of the medical plan and goes towards the $2000 deductible. Not separate. Never seen this! Terrible.! So you will basically be paying $2000 out of your pocket before anything kicks in.. If you are on a regular prescription then you better have the $ cause you'll need it to pay for your presecriptions.. For a company this big, they are a joke and it is ridiculous they make you pay this much! My last two companies my total out of pocket per pay period was less than half! And they had a separate prescription plan that all your prescriptions only cot $10-20 max and didn't have to be paid out of pocket and go towards a ridiculous deductible !
Company car... Lmao.. A Ford C-Max! Lmao.. Omg... I almost crapped my pants when they told me what they offer. Take a look at what a Ford C-Max is...lmao.. Have fun!
You might want to ask about the mental health benefits that you can access, probably starting the second day of employment if you are crazy enough to work for GE. Hint ... GE does not stand for "Good for Employees."
Healthcare is great if you have a major disaster.e.g. Leukemia, two rounds of chemo and bone marrow transplant 100% covered. Plis manager and HR helpful and caring.
