Considering a job at Depomed. How is the manager in NC?

I would only consider if it was a pain job. Otherwise, definitely not. Very metric oriented here, not patient centric. Be prepared to be micro-managed to death.

    Depomed is definitely metric-heavy.

Here, metrics matter more than results.

Depomed is so metric-driven, that reps no longer have autonomy, even though we have a ton of successful experience.

Don't be fooled when management says that 'You are the CEO of your territory! '

Run unless you are unemployed and need a job. Depomed used to be a great place to work but the new VP is destroying the company on metric at a time. There are two DM's in NC if it is the one with initials MR run for your life!

Depomed really isnt that bad of a place to work. Mgt in the south is good. Im sure its like any pharma right now. I would worry about a sale in the next year

Next year? Start worrying about employment around the Holidays. Company is too quiet and thats not good. Rumor is their waiting for the quarterly meeting in a week or 2 and bamn announcement how much longer we all have a job with the new company buying us.

I am also considering the opportunity.
Can you give me an idea of base salary to expect?
I want to make sure that I approach this correctly.
    Thanks in advance.
