How many people are gone from the original addiction team? 17 of us started in September 2015. I left early on once I saw the disaster that was forming and I was not comfortable with what I thought I would have to do in order to not get PIP'd out of there. I hear there are some very questionable activities going on in order for people to survive.

Maybe 6 or 7 addiction reps left. If Kaleo had their way, 0 would remain. Management feels as though they made a HUGE mistake with these addiction seasoned professionals. This fate was sealed and delivered when TS and DH agreed to launch the "coupon scam", which brought on low, very low, salaried and uneducated industry grunt reps to manipulate and twist the arms of these poor MAs PAs and NPs. No clinicals selling, just used car salesmen Amway approach. When the last addiction rep leaves, which is coming soon, management will throw a party and replace them with rent a reps, or worse, a Mallinckrodt.

Ok, so I was one of the original reps too. I left after two and a half months in the field. Resigned. There was product moving in my territory, plans for entry to a significant Medicaid supported clinic system, and inroads to some of the most lethal opiate trafficking in the country. Deaths doubling every year. And we were the only real take home game in town. Except for a manager that took over the sales dialogue and told the customer flat out lies. Compliance be damned, work life balance be damned, and planning be damned. Make 10 or more calls per day and your time behind the windshield didn't count. His management style was screaming. I resigned, and left the bastard at the restaurant with a cab driver's card at lunch.

When you’re trained these days does management still walk in during training to announce something like, “Oh now we’ve just found out we’ve saved 252 ( for example), lives “‘ After which they get all teary eyed and walk out.
