The nimrods like DG, JD, GJ, etc have completely lost focus and are just buying their time until they can ride their golden parachutes into the sunset. I recently just left for Medtronic and can tell you Applied Medical is sinking faster than the Titanic and would tell anyone looking here to run in the opposite direction as fast as you can. It wouldn't surprise me if there is a mass layoff in the coming year or 2 because Applied has been losing sales revenue at an exhorbitant rate. Throw in the lack of conversions from the products that were supposed to be their saving grace, and one can clearly see that hail mary pass fell about 20 yds short of the endzone.

I think he missed his chance. Should have sold years ago. Who would buy them and for what? Medtronic and Ethicon are laying people off in their divisions because they know these products are contract driven. The most valuable item Siad has is the real estate in SoCal.

100% True, well said. They want rockstars and pay for shit. Just so you know recruiters know all about AppLied Medical and it won't help much but you will still be better than a pharma rep. I do have an ax to grind so take this for what it is worth. Forget medical sales, it's dying or in some cases dead. Find a tech company and work your way up. Medical lures you in with the high salaries but the quality of life sucks. Do yourself and your family a favor and save yourself from the trauma. Obama is going to put an end to the medical sales industry. Just my opinion...
