How safe is it to take a job with Merial with BI deal? Which group will stay and which group will be let go?
i wouldn't say it's safe. No one knows who is staying and who is going. Most likely it will be a mix of both companies. If you're new and unproven as a performer, you may not be in the best spot unless there isn't a BI rep there already.
Merial will be acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim in January. No questions regarding training or anything else can be answered until that time. Merial will no longer exist, so it will be the BI training process.
