I'd appreciate it if the jackass responses were kept to a minimum although I'm fully expecting some. Just looking for some perspective as far as working at BS goes. Would it be a good move to leave a relatively "stable" pharma posistion to move into entry level BS? Just looking for opinions from current/former employees. Thanks in advance.

Depends on so many things. What division? Who's your boss? Do you like "stable?" Very little here is stable. Innovation is OK here, but hardly enough to ward off a complete major hospital conversion based soley on pricing/contracts for most groups. BSX does a lot of things really well. Depends what you are looking for. Money here is OK, not what it used to be. Any stories of big numbers are likely one hit wonders or someone who has carried the bag for 12 years, has their salary portion up by more than 2x and has learned to leverage long term relationships. BSX is great entry level for someone from Enterprise, ADP, Gallo wine, etc. or pharma making only $75k.
