Wonder if someone can explain the Chiesi/Cornerstone/Medicine Company connection? I was approached about a job at Chiesi corporate in NC, but not sure if Cornerstone and a Medicine are now Chiesi, or are running as separate entities. Hoping to get some clarification and any insight on how Chiesi specifically is to work for, corporate culture, etc. thanks
The corporate culture is one of the worst I've seen in two decades of pharma. Unless you are about to starve to death, move on. They will tell you how great it is, but it is all lies. The whole place is a breading grounds for miserable people who are bossed around by territory guarders, and managers who are scared to death to let anyone advance. Very very dead-end place. You'll never experience honesty in feedback, the talking-behind-backs is a daily and on-going thing, and you'll never really know where you stand on anything. Move on.
You need to read this all the way through. http://www.cafepharma.com/boards/threads/like-rats-escaping-a-sinking-ship.565620/
Run don't walk from a company that hires people like mike butler...sleazy, will stop at nothing to advance his own career, small man syndrome, leads by intimidation, I could go on.
The company is the biggest piece of crap that exists. All the senior US administration are a bunch of liars and scumbags. Amazing that the Italiano's have not figured them out and fired all of them. They have them fooled but every dog has its day. Worse 7 1/2 years with inferior want to be products
Dale got scared and took off. Chickenshit. She will screw anybody over just to keep mr. (think I'm a hot playboy let me hit on all the hot chicks) happy. With the side kick buddy The bigger walrus he spoons with No we got this moron in here and half the accounts don't want to deal with him and they can't keep reps in the territories Don't run- run Fast. My accounts all want to go generic because you're not going to overpay
I'll second that. That's an exact explanation. It was a little club of people brought together by a party animal rich guy and when he retired, they are all trying to figure out how to not let anyone take over their big-fish-in-the-little-pond spot. MOVE ON.
