HR/Recruiters at this company are 2/10 at best

    Complete lack of professionalism. The guy no call/no-showed for a call, complete asshole once on it....looked more closely here and at Glassdoor....not shocked. What a shitbox.

    From my experience HR departments' priority is to hire and keep good people, and as such they act as the employee advocate if there is something that demotivates or is simply wrong. Not so with Applied's HR. Bring something to their attention and they simply e-mail you the related corporate policy with no further discussion (and I suspect they let management know that you're "a complainer"). This is a company of yes-man management that gets rid of anybody who rocks the boat by suggesting change, and they have shown repeatedly that they just don't give a shit about employee morale. My guess is the HR Dept. aren't bad people, but they are in the same boat of having to project that we're a happy company with happy employees, and are discouraged from even listening to dissent.
