    quick question

If I am out on short term disabily Is conmed allowed to instruct me to work with other employees discuss accounts after I'm already out? I thought it was illegal for me to be contacted in any capacity other than by HR? Help.

I use to be a manager at conmed. If you are out on approved short term disability, they are not allowed to communicate with you.
Not sure about your personal situation but given the time of year the are either planning on letting you go when you come back or assuming you will leave prior to returning. In either case you should keep record of all correspondence.

    Thank you

Can they get themselves in trouble for letting me go upon my return? I do not plan on leaving.

Yes, they can get in'trouble'. Meaning you can sue, my guess is that it is not worth it and that the effort you spend on a suit would not be worth it. Sorry but at will employees don't do to well in these situations.
