Company only succeeded in areas where there was no competition e.g. Plavix. Otherwise BMS was not able to compete with Merck: Januvia VS. Onglyza, Zocor VS. Pravachol, Losartan VS. Irbesartan and in the early years Enalapril VS. Captopril. Merck had its first Oncology drug with Keytruda when BMS had Yervoy, Sprycel and Erbitux and a long list of products before. Then Erbitux VS. Vectibix. Can anybody tell me why? It cannot be that they set the record that straight! The funniest thing is that some of the current senior leaders (or so called leaders) almost have been part of all of that.
