Trokendi XR will be a bust

May not be able to compete against bigger pharma.

 

No chance, not with some if these RDs.

 

On topic - I have lots of chronic migraine patients for whom topamax is the only medication that works for prevention. Many of them have discontinued it due to side effects. If trokendi can provide the benefit of topiramate with less S/E, I will write the shit out of it.

I'm in an affluent area where patients are willing come out of pocket for Trokendi, because they're gonna have to. If it lives long enough to make it to generic, it will be the DOC for chronic migraine prevention in my opinion.

Agreed Topamax is already much more tolerable than oxcarb. That's why there is hardly any difference between Topamax and Trokendi. Try harder you RDs, most of you are pathetic, as if we needed more proof this proves it.

 

So terrible that you are still here after a year. Ha, if its so bad, leave. But I'm sure you're cool collecting a paycheck. Btw, not backing the taRD's at all, just saying you are probably the same person that complains on all of these threads. Just can't wrap my head around how you have so many issues with the company's products, leadership, pay structure etc. yet you won't quit. Weird.

I'm so sorry, but I just couldn't resist posting on this thread... I'm not even sure how I found this gem and that's what makes this even more awesome!!!! I guess you'd just call me another stupid consumer who bought into the crappy Trokendi XR product that was never gonna take off, but I happen to be thrilled with my results, the pricing, AND the fact that I only have to take it once a day - thank you very much! I only have to pay a tawdry $55 monthly for my prescription and it works wonders for my weight loss. But, thank you sooooooo very much for believing in the product that you're marketing. It makes me feel so very valued as a consumer. You noted the sarcasm dripping off every word in those last two sentences, didn't you? I do hope so. You have a wonderful day at work now, okay?!

 

People should go to jail for charging $25 a day for this crap medicine. Just take the regular pills twice a day for less than a dollar. Total scam on the consumer.

I've taken both. I like Trokendi XR better. My body cannot tolerate heat as well when on Topiramate. However, with that being said, the difference in price, when I was self pay, made me question what miracle might be in Trokendi XR that I was unaware of. If they can do something to get price down that's my pick.
