    To the loser that posted -
    Agreed. And to the Magnifica-bots, you haven't sold shit yet. Slow your roll and take down the attitude a notch. Show your Salix GI counterparts some fucking respect. The breakout meetings were filled with snarky little comments about how you guys are gonna change the world and bring us to the next level. Can't wait until reality hits you right in the mouth after your first few months. These are not easy products to sell. And they are a whole lot tougher to sell in PC. All the cheering in the world won't fix that.

    Good luck though skippy. BTW, your salary is about half that of the average Salix rep joining the company in an open GI spot. Nobody is tapping you to backfill those spots. Let that sink in

    Your right about the current pay for the Magnifica sales force. What your wrong about is thinking your safe. Why do you think they hired us. To replace the majority of you overpaid, lazy, complaining entitled thinking losers. You know why your still with Salix, because Synergy laughed when you interviewed with them and no one else wants you. They took half the sales force all that's left is "S". The new sales force is full of proven high performing managers and a lot of really good sales people. The products are not hard to sell, they are game changers. It takes the ability to actually know how to sell to be successful with them. Go ahead and watch what happens with sales. Everyone who is someone is talking about your stinking bad attitudes and when Magnifica blows the numbers out of the water, many of you underperforming losers will be shown the door. Looking forward to your response if you have a pair D Head.

    I got laughed out of the interview with Synergy? Never even picked up their call because I didn't feel like being a contract rep but that's not what matters here. You work for a contract company making half what a specialty GI rep here makes. And that's the point. You morons walked around that meeting talking shit like you were going to save the company. The attitude was way over the top and everyone who is someone was talking about it.

    What you're wrong about is the notion that Salix is planning to replace the GI team with Magnifica reps. We are going to be sold. And quickly. Everyone has a shelf life of 6-12 months. You think you're safe? Ask the folks who were let go in their first day of training last April.

    How would you know if Xifaxan and Relistor are hard to sell? Isn't today your first official day in the field? Wait until you have to explain that Relistor injectable costs more than $100 per day and the oral is more than $50 per day. Yeah that is always a great selling point for doctors. And how about that IBSD coverage for Xifaxan? Primary care doctors love jumping through all those hoops to get it covered. They have plenty of time in between their 30-40 patients per day to sit on the phone with insurance companies. It's going to be a breeze. Magnifica!!

    If you are worried about how you are going to explain why Relistor is $ 50-100's more per day -you need to worry about your selling skills. Very few patients pay cash prices- zero copay is zero copay. That's assuming they have commercial insurance that's not a High Deductible plan and they complete any appropriate PA's - but that's pretty much the same for the other branded products as well.

    It will be much more challenging than the new reps seem to think it will be- but I wish them luck, they succeed we all succeed. If they don't - the contract gets cut.

    Reality is going to hit them like a ton of bricks. Remember how many people RAN from DDSSF that first year? Selling these drugs to primary care is like repeatedly pounding your head into a brick wall for days on end.

    Try selling the idea that a company charging $100 to take a shit has the best interest of the patient in mind.

    Riiiiiight. Superior selling skills can justify $1600 a month for Relistor over $350 a month for Movantik.

    Stop, please do not allow a few idiots on the Salix side to start a fight with the Magnifica people. That was a redicules post and completely untrue. I feel my Magnifica people our great and happy they are on the team. It may not even be a salix person but just somebody wanting to cause problems. Don't allow a few to speak for almost 500 people. Good luck Magnifica hope you crush and it lifts all of us.

    Wow....please tell me you do not work for Salix. So many errors in this post. It just goes to show how many Magnifica reps are uneducated with literally no experience. Don't try to pass off as someone who is not Magnifica. Your post gave you away.

    There were a few idiots on the Magnifica side just as I'm sure there were a few idiots on the Salix side. Who really cares. Worry about what you do on a daily basis. My Magnifica people seem very competent. I saw all of this same crap directed at the Santarus reps probably before you were even hired at Salix. Give it a rest. We will know in a couple of Qtr if they hired the right people.
