To dismiss a strong runner up in the primary process who has shown he can raise money and put together a killer ground game is absolutely stupid. Cruz will have an excellent chance when the time comes.

Pence will have a shot too but Pence has not shown that he can raise money or put together a campaign organization. Remember, he won't be inheriting either of these from Trump because Trump has neither. Also by that time, pence will be burdened with the bad Trump as well as helped by the good Trump.

One other key consideration is that Pence will never be able to live down his cowardly betrayal of the Christian community when he caved to the gay mafia on religious freedom protection in Indiana.

That's a trump card (no pun intended) that Cruz could likely use to bash Pence anytime he wants to. See Cruz has been proven to have political courage and be a true warrior for conservatives and Christians, crucial factions in the Republican Party.

Pence has shown that he's a paper tiger and a political coward. That's going to make it very tough for Pence to win over Cruz. Only if Trump starts coming on strong in religious liberty and rolling back gay rights, something so far he hasn't really been willing to do, will Pence really be in good shape against Cruz. But even then the stench of his political cowardice will follow him. Just like the gang of 8 amnesty deal ploy follows Rubio. Were it not for that, we would be saying President Rubio today. See as much as I support Cruz, I don't let my preferences cloud my judgement like you do.

Still both of them will have a strong chance at the nomination. I'm smart enough to know and admit that. You are not.

Look, I frankly don't care what Trump says about Beck because Beck is far more right than he is wrong and Beck is far more right than Trump.
