I'm applying for 1st time MSL roles and keep getting asked about expected salary. I'm an overseas trained MD with over 10 years experience, but this will be a new career for me. I wondered what would be best to write on my application.
Without previous MSL experience you can expect around $130,000 + Bonus, I made about $170,000 my first year as an MSL with my bonus added in, but I had to drive my own car and they gave me a car allowance. Once you have 5+ years experience you can probably ask for $150,000 as base pay. Expect to travel about 80% of the time, especially if you have a multistate territory.
