    Dear Management Team,

Should we really be hunting for Patterson Reps that were let go? Maybe a better idea would be to target more Patterson customers!

    Just saying--

Isn't that what management is doing by hunting for Patterson Reps? Customers for the most part are loyal to the rep not the company.

most of the reps let go were 20+ year reps, with an average of $2mm a year in sundries not to include their equipment sales. Not sure what your company considers average or "good" but those are fairly solid numbers for a territory rep in my region where they let go of very solid reps whose customers are more loyal to them then Patterson. Of course there were some that probably needed to be let go, but most I know were very good reps...

    NOBODY CARES, NO ONE.

They are forgotten like yesterday's news, taken to the curb like garbage.

The dentist is already ordering direct on the phone.

RETAIL FIELD SALES PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER NEEDED, WANTED OR TOLERATED.

    Dead.

    GOOD RIDDANCE.

How's the transition to Welfare going - Retail Reps ?

Why not share some of your stories with the rest of us employed value-added sale
    people ?

Don't be ashamed. There are millions of you sucking off the system. Slide that Welfare card through at the Food Store - Really, no one is looking. . .

Gee, I called my best office this week, one I really went out of my way for, in service, discounts and returns to ask them to give me an employment reference.

The office manager didn't remember me and when I asked to speak with the dentist she said he was busy and hung upon me.

Are any of you having better luck than me getting references ?

    Funny Business.

Why would you need references? In this business everybody knows each other unless you're a rookie.

    "Why would you need references?"

Who said anything about applying in the idiot dental business full of dummies like yourself ?

    That's Why.

This is usually the response of someone who couldn't make it as a rep. They blame their failure on something else instead of admitting they were not good at the position.

This is the posting of a young, immature, self centered idiot.

My only regret is I won't be there when this person falls flat on their face.

Center Point question - When you take a customer out to Center Point showroom, who pays? ES, TR, Dr., Corporate? I'm considering an ES position with these guys and want to be clear on travel expenses before proceeding. Thanks.

Benco has there act together on CP visits. If you have somewhat of a loyal dentist looking for equipment they will buy after there trip. If I was an ES looking for a job I would head over there

No I worked there for 5 years. Don't need to work anymore made more then enough money selling dental supplies & equipment. The Cohens are the real deal. Still fly Economy not first class or private and when they promise something they ALWAYS follow through. Customer is always right. GREAT company and enjoyed every minute working there.
