Ok people, this has gone on way too long. Let's get this straight. Some of our VPs have been throwing serious mud at our company & management. Totally unfair. Steve and his EMT team have done a tremendous job over the past few years. They have put LifeWatch right back on track. The cheap shots being thrown are not fact-based. And, the attacks on individuals cowardly. If you want to criticize our management, do it honestly, directly and be professional. And, let's be clear here: the people at Lifewatch are 100% behind their EMT. So perhaps it is time for you to move to another company and take your negativity with you? Btw, we've got your number.

The following reflects my opinion after living the LifeWatch experience. Of course, we should as professionals debated. To open the debate I submit: One can not, with an examination of the facts, state that LifeWatch's leadership is positive and to be praised. Steve and the Executive Management Team (EMT) must NOT be held as examples of success within healthcare. First look at the extremely large executive and employee turnover since August 2014. Constant leadership change is the first sign of instability and incompetency. In addition the continued decline in sales and losses in the courts/legal system documents leadership failures. Steve was completely responsible for solving issues he inherited. Many of the resolutions he directed have been harmful to the corporation. A specific examples: 1) Continuing the Legal Arbitration with Highmark Blue Cross. This cases was not winnable and an experienced leader with good counsel on third party claims processing would have understood this fact. As a CEO he should have gone to BCBS and strived to build future relationships versus fighting. Steve's and the Board's decision to fight BCBS has cost the company millions. 2) Keeping Lee as the compliance officer on his appointment as CEO. Steve was advised by senior leaders in 2014 (with great passion and factual examples) to terminate Lee for incompetence. To state this in a more positive fashion: Lee, as Compliance Officer, did an outstanding job of never being held accountable for the confusion and strife he created in his role. It can be argued that Steve's decision were based on false and incomplete "investigation" reports and assumptions. Of course please remember: "When you only have half the facts you have a great chance of making the wrong decision". In retrospect and with respect to the CEO's position, maybe Steve's decisions were made out of fear of "compliance" or doing what he thought was in the best interest of the "corporation". The reason(s) for his decision making does not matter. I reiterate that the record shows he has chosen incorrectly many times. Another example to make this case; purchasing "FlexLife". Case rest. Today, in the fast paced world of healthcare technology this is all ancient history. Let's pray that LifeWatch can survive for the benefit of those who depend on this company for their income and professional development.

Quit living in the past and start looking toward the future. We will all be CN employees soon, so get used to working at a company that only cares about executives. That is until they let us all go after the acquisition.

Has CN already showed up for its DD? Or GE? Or anybody else with decent managment?

One of 2 things will happen

1: Aevis V will make another bid: a real one this time. Board will be forced to accept since no one else is interested
2: BEAT will offer pennies on the dollar to acquire. There would be redundancies in every position and everyone will re-interview for their own job

The company cannot exist much longer. Failed partnerships, lawsuits, pending litigation, and a leader who refuses to learn the business he is in.

Vince's original post in the this thread was conceived by Steve as he reads all of this and hates not being popular with the people. Vince is the only friend he has left. Steve has alienated the entire company. If the shareholders knew the level of dishonesty and destruction, they would be shocked to learn the truth.

Every one that works here knows this already. If you are still here then you should get your work done since it is you're choice . If you are looking for better products OR a management team that cares about the service & patients of Lw then stop looking. Selfish dominates the business world these days. Steve doesn't care about you. Neither does the Board. It's business. Money drives business. They will cash a nice check and move on. You will be left with a mess. In a territory or in your cube at OIC. But don't be shocked or disappointed when it happens. It WILL. There is no other option or plan.

The real question is are you going to 'watch things happen' and watch the train come smoking into the station when purchased? HOPE that you will have a job? Or are you going to 'make things happen' for yourself and find an employer / management team that understands basic business principles? The choice is 100% yours. Don't come crying to Cafe Pharma or any of your fellow co-workers if YOU aren't prepared for it.

Best of luck to all of us. We will all need it with a 2 year old child at the helm.

Synergies alone do justify LW's current market cap.. CN could take out the very big axe.. even if the pay nice premium, deal would be accretive. Would be stupid not to do it.

There is no way CN would buy LW. Not an option. We just keep taking your business so why bother?

Strictly speculations. No one has a crystal ball. I submit each employee is entitled to his/her opinion, but why waste so much energy on the unknown? Stop the guessing/blame game. It serves zero purpose. I got my paycheck, didn't u?

Well another week, another dollar. I know I'm thankful. Paid my bills. Works for me. It does boil down to a previous post as noted: "the choice is 100% yours"...we all know complaining/speculating are complete wastes of time and certainly, do not contribute to mortgage payments. For me, so far so good. Not into the what ifs--and that's my choice.

Even better news--a positive balance sheet was announced for LW. So we are on the right track. I can deal with that.

Dealing with the fact: a good number. Proof enough for me. I don't worry about the what-ifs. If I did, I'd look elsewhere.

You dont have a choice Dr Dumbass. You are our CEO. If you spent half as much time trying to become a leader as you do chasing our Chief Legal Loser's big ass around the office, we would be in a much better place. It's embarrassing.

Please Dr. Feelgood tell us again about how "stable" our company is. Tell us again about your time at Rouche. Tell us which financial institution you will look at to bail you out next time. i have heard the word "defaulted" thrown here around. I hope that has nothing to do with credit lines.

Oh yea tell us how smart you are for turning down 2 offers from your best friend to make the shareholders think you are fighting hard for them. A 2 yr old could see that coming. So, in the future, if you're gonna try and be slick, be slicker than a 2-year old.

OR, you can wipe the crap off of Vince's nose and forehead and he can type it out for you. We wouldn't want you to miss your 1st Class flight back home. :)

Flattered. CEO I'm not. Vindictive I am not. Take a deep breath buddy--you are not in charge here either. My paycheck is signed just like yours. Give up on your play-by-play rumor mill. Better yet, move on.

Finally somebody got it: a few losers like CC, TR and MT are groping our female employees believing they can get away with that. Do they confess when going to church?? Shame on them!“

I can't believe that Cardionet got the last laugh on this dysfunctional relationship. Two companies that can't even perform the core competencies and CN takes the Championship Belt. Lifewatch is a complete mess and I know I've been their over a decade. A note to CN are you sure you want to take this mess on. I would have waited and bought it out of bankruptcy court.

I hope that Cardionet comes in and cleans the dirt and filth from LifeWatch. Starting from the top and includes every department. If you are a LifeWatch employee (I am), watching the circus of pretend business being conducted is embarrassing and draining. Most people are only there to collect a paycheck and try to dodge the grade school sometimes preschool mentally of our leaders/managers, directors and yes VPs. You ask a question you get bullied talked over and cut off, you give suggestions you get laughed at, you are expected to follow their leads and they give no valid rationale that their decisions are right and please don't mention ethical. LifeWatch employees post here because going to HR or Lee or the executives with issues is pointless. In most cases the person is treated as if it's their fault and you can't reason with immature ignorant people. So the person is labeled a troublemaker or spy. It's been that way for years. New people come in, state things are messed up but don't roll their sleeves up and help fix things. Like the poster said above, they get their big paychecks and keep going while the business and reputation gets worse. So yes some of us use this open forum to vent hoping that someone would read the truth and make things better. We see it won't happen..but we still hope improvements are on the way...
