Any indications how Trulance launch is going?

Dude sell your stock. Cut your losses. The CEO is brainwashed about this me too drug and has an ego the size of Texas. He's not selling.

Not going well so far, but it's way early and it can take years to shape physician behavior. I also wish I had as many partners in the field Allergan & Ironwood have, can't compete with their SOV. I haven't had a RX yet, but have had some sample move out of two of my top GI clinics.

Docs are thinking we rigged the diarrhea response questions in the trials. They didn't teach us in training; how to respond to all these dumb ass docs that think a CIC treatment must have diarrhea as a side effect to be effective. Sure, we have the uroguanylin story but they start to walk away or fall asleep when I bring that up. They just want an easy fix, this is going to be a marathon and not a sprint for sure!

We can't blame managed care if we have a slow launch. Trulance has Unrestricted Access for 83% of Commercial lives in All Locations--4326 health plans across the USA. Linzess only covered on 78% of commercial lives, seriously this launch should be easy money for us!

There is no difference between linzess and trulance. Uroguanylin? Who cares. All that matters is how well the drug works. And there is no difference. Doctors don't care.

Trulance is DOA. As an earlier poster stated we can't compete with th Linzess sales force numbers. And they see right though the study.

This sounds like a relationship sell. I thought Synergy reps/DMs have many years of experience calling on Gastro's? "Give me half of the business doc..."

Again, sell your stock and take a loss. Don't try and tell us how to sell. It's a dog. A dog with fleas.

It's too soon to see real RX data, but feedback is so-so. My docs are skeptical of the diarrhea rates and our trial methods but agree there's a need for another product. The poop emoji app is awesome, the docs I've shared with will use this to get their patients to open up about CIC. They also like our innovative blister sample packs, really think their patients will be more compliant on Trulance and this will lead to efficacy. Hoping to be on the scoreboard with next data release.

Damn right, 96 TRX nationwide for first week of data almost matches their 102 TRX they had their first week on the market. At this rate, we will cruse our 30M 2017 sales goal and will come in over 100M. Great job everyone!

Best contract I've been a part of, I sure hope we don't get bought and lose our jobs. Trulance is a good drug and this is a good contract gig.

Just as an FYI to everyone, the Linzess launch was very slow at the start. It's going to take some time for them to get comfortable with Trulance. To everyone saying it's the same product - it's not. I've had friends to were on Linzess for over a year and the side effects never stopped. They started taking Trulance when it came out, said they had diarrhea for like the first day or two and then were totally normal. Some people may need fluid secretion all over their intestinal tract (maybe more severe CIC patient) but certainly not all of them.

Trulance is not supposed to cause any diarrhea, why did it happen to your friends?

It still has a 5% diarrhea rate. I can't say exactly why it happened but I can say this person literally stopped taking LZ the one day and started Trulance the next. As for my other friend that tried it, she had come off LZ a couple months back because she couldn't handle it any longer. So she had literally been constipated for months. She said hers was a little looser but after a day or two she said it was completely normal.

It is evident that Synergy Pharmaceutical's Trulance is superior to Linzess. The studies are powerful and very valid. Trulance is gianing ground in my state.

Mine too, Trulance already preferred drug on Medicaid over Linzess and Amitiza.

The launch is a disaster. The coverage is awful too.
