We will see. It doesn't matter if we have a new CEO with 35% more DME and more program funds...if the morphine equivalent dosing isn't changed the vast majority of prescribers will not write it. This is what I hear every day all day long. I feel like I'm beating my head against a wall. Great drug but the legislative restrictions in my state and CDC guidelines are killing my business. Nucynta is a fantastic option for me (I'm an end-user) but what's killing you is the fact that I can't afford $550 every month any more and I'm going to have to ask for stupid morphine because I'm going broke on Nucynta.

I'm not the one who posted it originally but I didn't like it either. Particularly the part where he says he wants to "evaluate the current structure". Sounds like restructuring to me which usually means more layoffs, more territory shifts, more disruption. We've had enough disruption. Only good thing that could come out of that is if I get a different manager because mine is a total asshole.

 

My exact takeaway from that call. Do what you all need to do af the home office to make us competitive again in an over policed industry, where we're losing coverage for ER everyday, and battling CDC recommendations.. you do your part, we will do ours. Depomed's sales structure is finally set up to win. And in spite of all of the roadblocks that are currently working against us, we are holding our own.
