If you are thinking of going to work at Ashfield you should think again. This is the most unethical and unprofessional company ever. They let-go of an entire sales force the week of Christmas with no warning and no severance. They shut down our email almost instantly not allowing anyone to get their numbers or reviews off of the server. They took our cars within 48 hours. Canceled our insurance within 10 days and are refusing to pay our December bonus even though the bonus payout stated they would pay if the rep had been in the field 2/3 of the month. They won't answer any emails with questions and are vague on any communication. I know sometimes jobs are hard to find, but keep looking and don't settle for this company.

Which contract was this? Is this a disgruntled employee or is this true?

    It's all true. Concordia contract.

Sounds just like what happened with the BI diabetes contract.

Similarly horrible experience. Don't work for Ashfield - money sounds good until... manager stabs you in the back - don't do it to yourself or your career!

Who asked the question earlier if it is true or a disgruntled employee? Are they mutually exclusive, or did you misplace your rose-colored glasses?

All the contract companies stink. I have never heard from anyone in contract sales say,my company is fantastic.

Interviewed f2f yesterday. Absolutely terrible and outdated, Mgr hates her life and stuck. First time I've said no thank you and walked away. Felt pretty good, lol. The spireva/stiolto contract is a quick layoff. Run away.

Is this the spiriva for asthma or stiolto/spiriva copd? What was outdated? Why do yoy say manager hates her life and stuck? Why was your interview terrible? Maybe that's why they didn't hire you.

This place is not where you want to be
    Especially in the northeast
The mgr in New England is a disgrace, do not work for him if you have other opportunities

Ashfield is a contract company! They do not decide when a contract ends, the company who hired them does! If you want more stability go work for a pharmaceutical company directly. Snowflake!

The only companies worth applying to are smaller, private companies.
All big pharma and mid pharma and contract are good paying, bad jobs. You can never do enough for these companies, they are unethical in all they do. Don't waste your time there. Its better to take a job at the mall or selling insurance, then to put yourself in a position to work for these MEAN people.

    here is the truth.

    1. The spiriva contract is a joke. There are no numbers and payouts come 3-4 months late.

    2. Speaking of bonus- this company just came out with its 1st quarter payout documents at the end of 1st quarter. How unethical is it to wait until you see all of the numbers at the end of the quarter to make the bonus payout document? We still have nothing for 2nd quarter.

    3. Word has it that this contract is set to end at the end of this summer. 2017. They said it was a two year contract. They lied.

    4. Don't get me started on our car allowance that is TAXED! They reimburse us less than half of the federal mileage rate. There is NO gas card. We also have to carry our own car insurance. What a rip off.

    5. Health insurance is good.

    6. Launch meeting was a joke. They had us share hotel rooms. What reputable company makes adults share rooms at a meeting? Also, at this meeting- you know the gifts we usually get? BI must hate us, or Ashfield is just stupid. Our big NSM gifts? $10 Starbucks cards (also taxed). The meals were terrible. Cold breakfast- all sugar or carbohydrates.

    7. Did I mention the unethical bonus plan? No goals? No contests or kickers for Ashfield.

    8. My BI counterpart is not supposed to sample Spiriva for Asthma but guess what!! I can never sample because they leave stiolto and Spiriva at every call!

    9. So tired of my expense reports getting returned for dumb reasons. If the training wasn't so unorganized and such a waste of time, maybe I would know how to complete my expense report.

    10. Leave this hellhole if you can. Ashfield is a shithole getting ready to get flushed down the shitcan. They have no money. Your bonus is capped and they don't tell you how you get your bonus until the end of the quarter and been able to figure out how to pay everyone the least amount possible. Is this against the law?

    11. I've worked contract my entire lhmafeirical career. This by far is the worst of the worst. Beware. Collecting unemployment is better than collecting a check from this POS place.

    12. I wasn't fired from here. I've never been in trouble. My reason for posting is that more people need to be aware of the things that go on here.

    13. How about all of our company cards getting declined? I heard Ashfield didn't pay their bill on time! I was so embarrassed when I tried to pay for lunch!

    14. Share your stories!

    Thanks for sharing.
I got an offer 2 weeks ago, and passed on it. It just didn't seem right. And, the client manager seemed like a real piece of shit.

bi district managers are requiring 50-70% signatures on calls. Bi reps over load on sample and ash field reps can't leave a sample since the BI reps are over sampling. No goals for the past 3 quarters. If you like chasing signatures and being treated like shit from both ash field and BI come join this circus.

above post is accurate. Stiolto contract writing in here. We just received our documents for the 1st quarter bonus. We do not receive goals or ranking. Payout does happen 3 months after. .19 per mile gas reimbursement and car allowance is taxed. ALL our BI counterparts do is flood the closets with samples so we can't sample. They think they are holding onto their jobs chasing sigs all day. Double the amount of admin work - learning Modules, conference calls, spreadsheets.. Admin work doesn't end. Our BI counterparts know their ranking, goals and comp but we are left in the dark. Don't work here.

I hear both are soon to be a thing of the past. All the previous posts are accurate. Stay away.
