Minor blip. Convatec is launching a disposable npwt impregnated with Aquacell that can last up to 30 days. S&N had the advantage of being an early player in the space; unfortunately we don't know what to do to capitalize on this advantage. Due to near constant turnover of sales, marketing and upper leadership we've tended to take a half step forward and full step backward for the last couple of years.

Spot on sir. That's why the good reps have left. The writing is on the wall. The quality of reps that they've filled these holes with is questionable at best. Agree with you in regards to reimbursement models killing the possibility of raising the price. On the off chance that reimbursement rises - there will be a corresponding increase in the price of pico. Outside of the OR that's why they would use pico.

No worries. France always has a plan.

Wound is like an introduction to pharma. High base salary - but little commission. Lots of administrative busywork, log all of your calls - account for all of your time, etc. make sure to throw you're name in the hat if you like ineffective leadership and micromanagement.

Pico is a great product to sell but I agree it seems every week my manager is pushing out another assignment to fill out that wastes our time. all busywork.

Recon rep that has seen 2 major hospitals agree to pay almost twice as much for KCI than Pico because S and N reps are non responsive

No worries. Frenchie has a plan from the Inspector Cleasau model.

That's one problem. The other problem is that Prevena is head and shoulders above Pico. If you S&N reps knew anything about how negative pressure works, you would be ashamed selling Pico and Renasys, if it ever comes back.

And, before you even go there, SNAP sucks and is a piece of garbage.

Received a call today from recruiter for a West palm beach wound position. Is that selling the pico vac?

I'm pretty critical of S&N - and wound in particular, but can't agree. The difference is KCI invested heavily in their pumps, whereas S&N made a cheap pump with technology in the dressing. The common users that have used both Prevena and PICO prefer the ease of use, flexibility and price of pico. You all may run circles around us in traditional negative pressure, but that's not the case with incisional. Additionally, since PICO is versatile enough to treat incisions and open wounds most customers appreciate that they don't have to stick three or four products.

Clearly you all bought SNAP to compete in the outpatient space due to the reimbursement changes. Like you said, SNAP is crap. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

On the plus side, it appears we're vying for an acquisition of any kind so I'm sure you all could buy use. Given we have no strategic thinkers or long term vision it may work out best for both sides.

More coming soon. Might be avoidable if S&N focused on fairly incentivizing and accurately tracking results instead of mashing reps into pebble.

these "VPs" are a total waste of revenue. Five office days a week. Only 1 of 5 in bio could do more than pick strawberries.

No vision, no plan is right, but it's been the case for years. Now supposedly Frazeti is getting his turn to be "the guy". Good luck with that. I've noticed he pretty much keeps his mouth shut. In true S&N style, laying low and keeping quiet gets you promoted beyond your competency. Over time folks forget you did;t grow up in th business, never sold ortho or been in an o.r. in your life. Won a president's trip a few years ago and got to see him up close. Came across extremely dull and socially awkward. Not great qualities in a leader.
