What's the general base salary for a rep with 12 yrs exp coming to sell Dysport? Avg Bonus? Car? Vacation? Looking to make a move here but trying to decide if the large territory would be worth it!
10 years prior experience with Merck Oncology - multiple President's Club Awards. Took a bit of a demotion - starting salary 110 with 8k per qtr to date - because the 4 weeks vacation has been super important since the kids are in elementary school. Benes are just okay, mgr kinda stupid, but have to take the good with the bad.
I don't know how much you make so not really. You'll probably go up on your base regardless. This isn't a company that makes you take a pay cut. You will be paid well. Just know it's a tough drug to sell. If the other poster says they're an onc rep currently they full of it. No way they are taking a pay cut or a making only an 8k bonus.
4 years with Ipsen Oncology. 2 excellent medications. ONIVYDE is standard of care 2L post Gem and is the only NCCN CAT. 1 in the space. More indications on the horizon. SD is superior to alternative and continues to grow. There will be generic for LAR in the near future. Base pay is north of 150K and the back of the pack makes at least 8k paid quarterly. I’ve had years of 30K per quarter payouts. Fantastic company trips, highly supportive leadership and very agile. Unfortunately as with all great things we r starting to adopt)slowly) some big Pharm BS. As with all companies, your direct manager plays an important role in your happiness. I am optimistic that we will continue to be a great place to call home
I was about to not apply because of the busy work they give you right out of the gate, but this post is absolutely one of the best pharma I've seen to date. You've switched my idea of this company and I will continue to apply. Thank you!
