Alere is now in the Abbott family

  2. As an Alere employee, I am happy with the merger and excited to join Abbott. I got a nice bump in my portfolio. We will be whole once Abbott takes care of our legal problems.

    Just to set the record straight... Perdue Pharma is the maker of Oxycodone, not Abbott. Many, many years ago, Abbott's HPD (Hospira, now Pfizer) marketed Oxycodone for Perdue. But that relationship was dissolved years ago.

    Not good news at all. Alere quarterly results were disappointing. The company closed the quarter with a $92.7 million net loss. Alere is bleeding money. How will Abbott compensate for this shortfall? .

    Abbott should fire all Alere executive and shutdown Global purchasing team - who fucked more Alere site and suppliers .

    Following to Group to fire
    1) Enterprises R& D team - platform , chemistry and active consumable transfer
    2) corporate Quality
    3) shutdown Alere Scarborough and Ameditech site and Alere San DIego - LDX business and move to alere china factory
    4) Shutdown all bullshit warehouse and Florida and Ireland office
    5) Human resource and IT
