I wanted Cruz, the far superior choice, early on. It was only in the general when Trump was the only viable choice to Clinton that I voted for him.

You were stupid enough to want Trump early on. That makes you stupid and hypocritical to constantly whine about him now!

Relative to what I feared and kinda expected with Trump, so far I'm pretty pleased. He made a hash of the ACA repeal and replace because he wouldn't listen to conservatives. But unlike fools like you who supported him early on (never said he was your earliest choice, learn to understand what people write) I knew what I was getting with Trump so I don't have a hissy fit every time he says or does something I don't like because you don't really know what he's going to finally do until he does it.

Cruz would have done a far better job and wouldn't have tripped himself up with all the flip-flopping and unforced errors the way Trump has. Cruz has a solid and clear political philosophy and he doesn't get caught up in ego and the art of the deal. Cruz isn't about image. He is about doing. But because he's not for baby killing fools like you wouldn't support him.

What's funny about your babbling is that you never criticize Trump when he actually deserves it. When the healthcare bill fell through, it was pathetic that Trump went after the Freedom Caucus and conservatives because they were the only ones who were trying to fulfil the promises that Trump had made!

The House Intelligence Committee issued seven subpoenas today related toe the Obama unmasking scandal.

Seven subpoenas were issued by the House Intelligence Committee regarding “Russian” meddling in the 2016 presidential election. The subpoenas are related to the illegal unmasking of political opponents by the Obama administration..

According to a WSJ report, three of the seven total subpoenas are regarding reports saying that members of the “Trump team” were identified “in foreign surveillance reports, and had their names ‘unmasked’”.

The Wall Street Journal reported:

The House Intelligence Committee issued seven subpoenas on Wednesday, in a sign that its investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election is ramping up in scope and intensity, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Republican-led committee issued four subpoenas related to the Russia investigation. Three subpoenas are related to questions about how and why the names of associates of President Donald Trump were unredacted and distributed within classified reports by Obama administration officials during the transition between administrations.

The committee has subpoenaed the National Security Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Central Intelligence Agency for information about what is called “unmasking.” Republicans on the committee have been pushing for a thorough investigation of how the names of Trump campaign officials became exposed in classified intelligence reports based off intelligence community intercepts.

Those subpoenas seek information on requests made by former national security adviser Susan Rice, former CIA Director John Brennan and former United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power for names to be unmasked in classified material. The three didn’t personally receive subpoenas, the people familiar with the matte said. Mr. Brennan, Ms. Rice and Ms. Power didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
