It sounds like this is a low paying pharma job, any truth to the high turnover?

This is more of a B2B job, with a company car. Clinicians like and love the product, but hospitals want a generic equivalent at 1/2 the price and there are many me to products. Drug reps make more and believe it or not have a better quality of life. This place sucks!

This is no way to close to selling pharmaceuticals. This is a 120K job at best for over 50% of the sales force on a very low base salary. This is a 1-2 year entry level spot for someone who wants to get into medical device.

Actually these people are wrong. I've been at $170k - over $200k for years. You just have to get into one of the "Specialist" positions. CAM, RAM, Pressure injury or Burn/Trauma. Higher bases too.

This is funny! When applying for a sales position ask how many people in the company are at plan, what do they make when they hit plan and why the turnover is so high? The answers will surprise you. Typically entire regions turn over every few years and not just reps but managers. This is nothing like a drug rep job. Poor pay, high quotas and selling a commodity.
