Layoff by summer?

    So when 95% of the RDs and DMs were white and Christian, things were friendly?

    I just got up on one today!

    Not one thing on my list of accusations is true
    At all

    I can disprove each one as my idiot DM is stupid enough to say I am late on an expense report - though the ONE time I was the report came back to me twice because my idiot DM did not approve it- even look at it?

    My teammates have-1/2 speakers I have zero yet i suck?
    I have been inappropriate
    At 2 meetings - despite minding my own business.. No alcohol - n griping
    Nothing..

    He is making shit up

    Really do not understand how they can
    Get away with lies to avoid a severance?
    If I don't fit.. Which i don't with this DM
    Give me a severance .. How can they get away with made up lies?

    They may state they're christian only when asked because it looks politically correct, but when you see that they lack character and don't stick to doing whats's right, at that point we know its a bit of a facade. I've seen a few that are the real deal (not in management by the way)and they don't last very long. You know...the ones that actually speak the truth and follow through with integrity in how they act without the desire to throw people under the bus.
    Most of the white RDs and DMs are liberal despite the fact that some claim to be christian and or conservative. It's all about appearance and is quite superficial.

    I'm sorry that this has happened to you. I'm curious as to how you were inappropriate at a meeting. Did they give examples or is that all they said.

    Let's see: I asked for specific examples- with another DM there he says "we will talk privately!" What? You have to have a witness... yet you can't say it?

    So we speak today... to go over "my understanding "of the paper I now possess..

    When I ask what was "inappropriate?"
    Oh.. the past... we are "moving forward!"
    Say what?
    But you want me on a "plan" yet can't tell me examples of every item on here?

    I got zip! So I am "inappropriate " yet he can't tell me what it was?

    Weird... I knew since I did not go out and party... make a fool of myself in the bars..
    Acted normal at the meeting.. they could not tell me what "I did"...
    Seriously ... the only thing is not enough calls in a day... despite our direction to "make them count" not just worthless calls.

    I am not joshing you.... he really could not give me examples of any of the infractions I am accused of ...
    I guess they hope i will look for a job now that they have made it official I am not wanted

    I don't get gas at 2 out of territory.
    Take off without taking off..

    I would reach out to someone in your district that is neutral and in the know about your manager and any talk that may be going on behind your back. You do have to be careful doing this, but it sounds like they're trying to hide this issue for a reason. If you can bring it to light and show concern, it may help.
    Also, if you know of a manager that you don't report to that you may have worked with at some kind of training or any type of meeting where there's cross training with managers working with different reps, they won't say very much but you'll get more from them than who you report to obviously. A lot can be read by what is not said and how something is said... etc.
    and what they say to your boss that you came to them and showed concern because you want to know what's going on because you're truly confused? It really is going to fall back on them that they have to provide some type of statement or something.

    It's more about being a bullish personality than it is about being white, black, christian, pagan, etc...

    There really needs to be laws in place to correct this type of situation. The sad part about all of this is if you are not a protected class and or you do not have an attorney on some type of retainer agreement, you'll be shelling out some cash to try and take a stab at this situation.
    The first problem is the fact that employers and HR feel very confident regarding making up all kinds of false scenarios and lying about your behavior if your're not in either one of those situations. The second problem is the fact that protected classes can get away with far too much and employers are too afraid to take action when they should. This can lead to the non protected employee getting bullied by both superiors and subordinates.
    You should start looking ASAP as I'm sure you already know.

    Sad but many of us have been here. Just use your energy and move away. It isn't worth it to fight it. I had a manager many moons ago that was a bully and super insecure. She made up things and when I tried to fight it I got zero support from HR. Just move on and don't take someone else's BS personally. The only one this will hurt if you fight it is you. The attorney will make money and the manager will defend themselves.

    I did find out this is a "personality conflict."
    That's my bad behavior.

    DM hates me!
    So I am primary breadwinner as I have 2 special needs children my spouse takes care of full time
    So going without a fight not an option

    Yes I do have an employment attorney about to make his presence made

    Last: I am in the protected class

    my employment lawyer works on Contingency

    I have something really good on my DM that should cost him his job

    We will see as it is coming out

    Ok then, if you're a protected class then most likely they'll be toast. If you have something on the manager, that's even better. You're very very lucky on that. There are a lot of people getting screwed over that have absolutely no recourse.
    It will still be somewhat of a fight because some management still think they can run anyone out and this leads to their demise.

    Well another swing and miss. When will Lundbeck realize Otsuka is not going to be any use to them in getting a drug to market? Hell even the drugs they have are not doing well. We have so many people selling our injectable we should be dominating the class. Management will wake up, understand they don't need so many people, and start the cuts once again. Once Samsca gets a new indication there will be no more need for a hospital sales force either.
