What will be the impact from the Conformis lawsuit?

    whats the news lately on this? Gotta be coming to a verdict soon...of course to be appealed no matter the outcome.

    No appealling when you settle.

    I started this thread 2 years ago knowing this was coming. That was a warning to folks whose income is directly tied to this.

    It's official.. Conformis gets $$ for every Visionaire case. Think about that when it comes to Surgeons who were already S&N users, but were converted to Visionaire because it was new/different. If S&N never converts them that revenue is still whole. But now those loyal S&N surgeons are basically Conformis surgeons by proxy.

    Patent infringement is serious. S&N management is incompetent.

    Sorry, you're wrong about that. Read the article carefully. S&N will only pay royalties if it develops the technology "for use with off-the-shelf implants beyond knee implants". VISIONAIRE blocks are only used for knee implants, so no royalty.
