Why don't you just try getting busy and sell something. The plan will work if everyone will work it.

It never will. If Wright doesn't get acquired soon and this path holds, the author of Bamboo should be handing out resumes by the end of the year. Selling this to the board was prob their greatest sales accomplishment, however it will prob be their last

So, you are saying that it is not working well? What can improve it?

very simple... ax Palmisano and Burrows. They are like a cancer in that organization. And they gave this tough, wannabe 27 year old NB who would sell her mothers soul just to get ahead in a mans world

Okay, I am going to blow holes in this entire theory. The Execs need to understand that further specializing a sales force that already specializes in F&A, was a poor decision and realize what the big Ortho companies have already figured out. Core is a "me too" business and the price is declining. It's not the heart and sole of any company. It's plates and screws, everyone has them and it's nothing to hang your hat on as an organization. Stop dictating what reps sell and let them sell what they can. Core is more and more a relationship sell which comes when you sell the bigger stuff, and Bamboo disrupted many relationships. You can't force where sales come from, the market will dictate that differently in each territory. Let the portfolio evolve as the market dictates. Sales weren't falling off, just evolving into newer products, which is natural. Sales were still growing, reps were happy, yes certain products were trailing off, but others were soaring. And the decline was only because Core is more and more becoming a commodity, which means more competition and cheaper prices. Wright needed to Lower prices, negotiate contracts that increase volume to off set lower prices, or don't to Danny of that and suffer a loss in sales. This shouldn't be hard to understand. But rather than try to compete in the newly commoditized market, they came up with a very expensive alternative plan to tell reps what to sell...enter bamboo = ridiculous terr changes, unhappy reps, disruptions to surgeons and yes declining sales. I don't know that Bamboo can be improved. What I think will happen over time is that many long term reps will leave and the replacements won't know any different. Or Wright will be bought. But in the mean time culture and sales will continue to suffer.

I see there is an ASR position open in Boston area. From what I hear there is one rep who is a witch so obviously I don't want to work for her. Is there another rep in that area or is she the only foot and ankle rep calling on Boston?

People in leadership positions have been promoted to incompetence and/or have been brainwashed by Cordell & Co. No one even thinks for them self in this company any more. Bamboo is a crying example of this. To hear all the sheeple managers towing the corporate line Bull**** about Bamboo is nothing short of comical and sad at the same time. I have known many of these guys for a long long time and it's just sad to see such a great company becoming so corporate

With two days left in Q2 does anyone out there have any insight as to how the company is preforming? Weighing the option to dump all my stock. Things don't sound very positive and I can't imagine that equated to stellar sales...

Why on earth would they mess with a good thing? Your company was on a roll for a while!
