How is Diabetes Care doing?

Okay obviously people are unhappy. This is clear. But can anyone speak specifically to what is going on with STP? I have used this since the day I became a nurse and cannot understand Roche telling us they'd have something better coming down the pipe and now we are unable to order STP and there is no substitute!

 

i work at the useless supplier that Roche left Strefa for to develop a new "k-lancet" and boy was that a mistake! They wanted the latest and greatest and got caught in the cold. A super arrogant company contracting with a super incompetent company.

in fact I most certainly did so and was told that our Gpo was informed directly by Roche (confirmed my McKesson) just days ago by Roche that they have discontinued the product and have something else coming but no clue as to when or what it is. I've been trying to do my homework properly. Patients are noticeably uncomfortable with our back up safety lancet.

 

When Roche is not creating an artificial demand for their stuff they are confusing customers with the latest and greatest and having logistics problems. They still fly it all to Indy weekly from the EU on a Cargolux 747?
