Would anyone be proud of him had he dropped the GD bomb on CNBC? What would've been the reaction of the market? It's not about Bible thumping or pussies or snowflakes, it's about professionalism and self-control. He was out of line and should apologize. The silence is deafening and is indicative of the out of touch mentality that is extant in Princeton.

Not only out of touch, but just plain crude and ignorant ! Serious need for coaching in public speaking. It's like a bunch of unsophisticated guidos at the helm.

Yes. How terrible for ANAJ to be emotionally invested in the well-being of the company and its culture. Shame on him for caring.

I agree with the comments on DUGL. Classless to say the least.

Emotionally invested in being a big shot at his gumba country club. Not for right reason. No defense. Stop.

Leave little Andy and his band of Jersey Boyzzz alone. They can't help it.

Yes I totally agree as well! Awe someone used bad language my feelings are hurt! You losers would show 1/4 of the passion Andy has for Novo maybe we wouldn't be in these "reorg" situations.
All you losers need to take a hard look in the mirror and ask yourselves am I really what Novo is looking for? If not then Move on there's no room for you losers here especially ones picking on him for having some passion! That's the problem you fools are all so anti someone stepping up and trying to motivate instead you all hide on cafepharma with your cynical comments! Grow up and get a pair!

Wow! Really? This is at least the 2nd time Andy has talked about wanting to do well to impress his country club "friends" on a main stage and you think it's passion for Novo? Let's not forget all of his mentions of being small and wanting to fight the big guys. Fight? Really? Hahahaha! Those supporting him are either part of his hand picked lackeys or just plain stupid.

I'm not sure what speech you were listening to if you thought Andy's goal is to impress the boys at the country club. What I heard is that he wants to stick it in the face of all those out there who doubt us and take pleasure in the fact that we've hit a rough patch. This is a classic case of you hearing what you want to hear - if you don't like Andy, you find a way to spin his comments to sound as if they were petty and stupid. You've obviously lost faith in this company. I'm not sure why you're still here if you think the #1 goal of our SVP of Sales is to get in fights and impress his buddies at the local country club. Why not go ahead and take off?

If he was so emotionally invested, why did he surround himself with those 2nd rate Jersey Boys, who promptly went and hired THEIR goombahs to lead teams in some of the country's largest markets? If he cared so much, couldnt he have invested some time, oh..I dunno…analyzing the data, reading the studies, and ANTICIPATING those headwinds created by PBMs love affair with Basaglar?

Don't be so naive to mistake external pomp & circumstance for intelligence and strategic acumen. The pharma streets are loaded with meandering Pfizer, BMS, Merck, Novartis, GSK AVPs, SVPs, EVP and Presidents that were all shiny and polished on stage during the industry heydays of 1999-2009. Once 2011 came around, many got exposed as empty suits, and were shoved out. Some got hired right away, only to be cut again by 2014.
