WELCOME to BIG PHARMA. Another meeting in July? (Boot Camp) I will have 2 days travel. A week long meeting in August. Manager has called a 2 day meeting in June. Average Conf Calls now 3 -4 per week. This used to be a great company but people (management from Big Pharma) has taken over and they will drive Amgen down just like they did Pfizer, Merck, Novartis, AZ and BMS. They can't see METRICS do not sell Biotech.
I can not agree more, it is ridiculous. How many meetings do we need? I guess they have to justify their jobs somehow. Add a crappy manager on top of that, and it's an even shittier situation. I still do not know how this person was promoted to a manager position. Might be the most incompetent person that I have ever worked for.
Selling "buy and bill" is the Amgen way to sell. Just don't use or imply a profit or below the line value. Wink-wink.
Meeting after meeting, with no NEW info , Old shit that should have been taught to the RENT a reps. Now we are going to BFE in the summer, what about vacations and families, and then return 3 weeks later, This company is ran by FEMALES now.
We have a 3 day meeting called for in August. First week of school. Most of reps in our division already had asked for time off (vacation).
