Amazing how GB continues to mis-steer this company, while his miscalculations have cost us growth, and his lackeys continue to fuck over their responsible businesses with horribly bad management...he now ruins countless peoples lives by laying them off across the company to offset bad numbers and his bad judgement. And yes, GB will continue to collect his inflated comp for all this...

It's about time to clear out some of the "diversity". Too many minorities in the company these days. If your LGBT, you'll be safe as long as you are white and stay in the closet. Nice move by the way putting Duffy in charge of APAN, hah, whitey oversees all!

When you're done with a condom, you throw it out...that's how Cardinal management views the rank and file people working outside of Dublin's Ivory Minaret.

    Love,
Dark Angel (FY 2011 to 2015 Surgical Sales)

For those of you who are over 40, and are getting laid off by Cardinal, understand know your rights! Read up on the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act ("OWBPA") and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act ("ADEA"). Cardinal is doing these layoffs silently because they are trying to confuse you. Also, because they don't want word to get out that it is a large group lay off. Get a lawyer, fight and make them pay appropriately!

Is management focusing on Sales or Staff (or both) personnel with these layoffs? Good luck to all, especially those planning to sue Cardinal. Besides the RIF of our older comrades, you'll find field sales managers, for example, who continually harass and torture older sales people forcing them to quit. We have an abundance of RMs who are weasels polluting our company with their toxicity, so DOCUMENT their actions and utterances if you plan to contact a lawyer.

No one is being spared of this stupid archaic numbers game. It's across the entire company. GB and his team are the actual ones that should be let go.

How widespread is this RIF? I am hoping the little hitler I work for (an RM in Medical Sales) might be on the list. However, as he is such a cunning, weaselly sycophant who has a knack for screwing over others for his many shortcomings, our AVP just might be blind enough to protect his devious ass. Any news on RIFs and how it might effect sales most appreciated

i just had a call with HR to discuss my severance. They're basically giving me less than a month to sign it. I am having a reputable employment discrimination attorney in my area who has represented former employees review it to see if it is fair, and I would advise anyone else who gets "the call" to do the same. Best of luck to all of you.

They we're late with the registration for the national sales meeting because they were laying people off correct?

This is true as layoffs have/are taking place...lousy severance packages as expected--rumor is NO health care coverage included with severance. Shame on Cardinal.

Where have the layoffs taken place? In the medical segment I have not heard of 1 person being laid off. This whole thread is all about spreading fear.

Recently there have been a few sales people riffed. Did you really think management was going to inform you of these cuts?

Lay-offs of Finance people in McGaw aka Waukegan since they said they would move downtown....but CAH had hoped they would quit vs move....where is HR in all of this.

So this yuugge RIF equates to a few sales reps and people in McGaw park who are refusing to go downtown to work. Wow. Pass the popcorn.

It was more than a few, but not widespread. I know of Surgi-Center Reps riffed, regardless of tenure, and they were given poor severance packages. Never forget that Cardinal Mgmt cares little about their sales reps (including you) as in their greedy minds we are all interchangeable and can be replaced by cheaper hires when they deem us no longer useful. FY16 was a
banner year for Cardinal yet the company 401k year-end donation was a paltry 2%; in FY15 it was 3.5%. The greed at the top is flagrant as DC and company strive to make CAH a Top 5 Fortune 500 company within 2 years. We are now #15 on the Fortune list-stay tuned for more self-serving decisions to bolster DC's exploding ego and screw over those who must be screwed over. None of us are safe.

May your dumb ass be next. Yes, pass the popcorn...

They have been doing the RIF over months since January. Not all at once otherwise there would have to be some sort of public disclosure. This way they keep it quiet and dirty, exactly how GB likes to operate. When you total up all the folks since Jan it is a substantial number. People are getting let go in Dublin as well.

Give specifics of what roles were let go. There has been no RIF. This whole post is nothing but fake news.
