Thanks for the new territory that has now expanded by about 175 miles.

Big territories and some territories have 7 reps in them since they combined 2 territories into 1. I don't think doctors want to see 7 gsk reps. Interesting things happening at gsk. It looks like they are wanting many of us to quit

You poor thing. It must be rough driving around all those Mike's in a company car, while making a good living. Don't worry, you will have a very short commute to your new job at the burger joint once you get canned.

We feel so sorry for you, snowflake. Let us know when you land your new job. We will stop by and leave you a few extra coins in your tip jar by the register.

No you aren't! You'll stay because you're so comfortable dropping samples and faking calls. You may have some type of actual responsibility and pressure at a real job. Keep complaining and keep cashing those oversized checks.

You kids please remember that faking calls = fraud. You could be ruined for life.

LOL! You obviously don't work in the field! Let me explain it to you in simple language:

Go to office - Can't/won't see you for a number of different reasons
Repeat in different offices. Some long drive times.
12 attempts today, talked meaningfully with 3-4 providers and/or staff which is typical
Call average = 3.5 for the week
Get major pressure from FLL, get calibrated at a "4"
Routing, early start/late finish - all tweaked to the max
    Hmmmm
Suddenly Docs want to talk! It's a miracle!
    Call average = 8.0/week!
FLL happy - gets promoted to S5 for improving metrics! Shares motivational insights with other regional FLLs and RVP.
FLL is now happy with you
Rep - in line for a "3" calibration next semester.

    What. Really. Changed?

Let me explain. Going from 4 a day to 8 per day sets off a flag. They investigate, check with offices and have a fraud case. Absolutely nothing the rep can do....caught , and charged with a crime.

I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house away said the big bad Wolf!

Not if I everyone else is also doing it, and if I prove that pressure was put on me to improve my metrics. Very easy to prove, almost looking forward to it! The fraud would point to GSK - think about it while you huff and puff away.

Son, you had better go talk with a lawyer before you try anything. That was a stupid statement , like " Well everybody is doing it , so it must be OK ! "

CRIME? Please enlighten me with what law is being broken by a fake call? What Federal law, bc you don't know what state they are in.

No, you illiterate fool, quite the opposite of following the herd. I was punished by management for being honest and management was rewarded for putting on the pressure to stop honesty - whereas the others had given up on that fool's errand years ago. Read more thoroughly before you comment, provided your attention span allows for that.

One of my team members was fired and arrested for faking calls. Pleaded no contest and got 60 days community service and 24 Months probation.
