To all the poor bastards that signed up with these lunatics, you won't sell a single Rx at a cost of $128,000 a year! This drug is DOA! You work for complete imbeciles!

“In my opinion, 80 mg is the more likely dose” to be regularly prescribed, costing about $128,000 a year, said Michael Rea, founder and chief executive officer of Rx Savings Solutions, a software company that works with employers and health plans so patients can comparison shop.

Not really accurate. Yes, the 40mg pill which recently got approval is priced such that if the real world daily dose is 80mg the annual cost comes out to ~$128k. But there is a 80mg pill pending approval that should be cleared later this year and company has already said publicly that the 80mg is going to cost the same as the 40mg. So effectively, the annual cost is going to be ~$64k in a matter of months so quit your whining. The pricing really isn't that crazy in the scheme of things.

People there is a generic older sister to your drug out there, Xenazine (Tetrabenazine) Yes it is only indicated for HD not TD, however it will work for TD. I am not sure how insurance will deal with the issue of "indication", but they would save a lot of $$ doing so. Also, most, but not all TD patients are on public insurance. Best of Luck

WOW with a price like that how much are they paying reps bonus per new RX in the launch phase? Also when do you launch?

its too bad that companies coming out with new drugs price them so high just to give discounts to PBM/MC companies, while the cash pts or pts on gov't programs can't benefit.
Most of your 'small pharma' companies are only trying to look good on the books to sell themselves down the road, so the investors and upper mgmnt can cash out.
TD is only as big as the older drugs being rx'd, but since a majority are trying or on the newer meds...u may not be such a hot ticket afterall

Schizophrenic patients are either on Medicaid/Medicare or they are indigent with zero insurance. This product is DOA.

At first I was disappointed when I did not get this job. Now I see I would have spent my day in a fly-specked, carpet worn Medi-Caid clinic trying to chase down prior auths.
$128,000? You are not curing cancer NBI.
    Good luck, good people!
