That’s a nice payout. The problem the one in my area is having is that no one will hire her now. That will last a few years, but not forever.

 

That's known as getting blacklisted. I don't know if that's happened to any of these women, but if it did they can get a good lawyer and go after the guilty company / party. BTW I personally know one woman who collected around $175K and isn't even looking (right now) for new employment.

Right or wrong, company tells XYZ thank you for applying and have a nice day because they don’t want anyone with a track record of rocking the boat.

That simple. No one would have to put the word out, or would really probably care to. The word has probably been out for some time.
