Wow, Armen Mirzayan (Cerecdoctor founder) warns Patterson sales reps to bail!

Posted on Facebook, Armen writes " I don't know a thing about the stock market, but when they (Patterson) cut sales force, raise salary for all the execs immediately, keep the rest of the team on a holding pattern, deplete cash reserves, while the top reps jump shit, they lock in that deal with heartland, it screams "BUY ME NOW". I feel sorry for the long time reps who are still very loyal. as soon as the switch happens, who ever takes over, will slash their territories or even dump them as the very first move to cut costs".

 

i can't count how many dentists I've met who believe they know how to run a multi-billion dollar corporation better than the executives currently running it. Of course hindsight is 20/20 and those armchair executives and business leaders who run very small dental practices believe they can do better. But none of these armchair executives ever start a company or run anything more than a $1-2 million business. Many of the doctors who were on the Patterson or Sirona tit and got axed now have a hardon for those companies because the cash cow dropped dead.
These same doctors believe their former money train can't proceed without their irreplaceable expertise. In modern American corporations no one person is irreplaceable. That means that large dental companies will do just fine with absolutely zero impact from jettisoning these low impact speakers and trainers. When you have a good product and solid marketing and advertising paid spokespeople have extremely limited of any effect on profits.

 

Patterson is indeed in dire straits but they still have big market share and following that will support them for years unless they get sold which might not happen at all. Sales cutting had little to do with overhead but was somewhat sick idea to give existing reps more customers/territory.

 

Armen's Facebook drivel is embarrassing. Even if Patterson or Sirona really were about to implode in the spectacular fashion he indicates, his comments and infantile name calling make him sound like a scorned 13 year old. For someone who made so much $ of off Cerec, you'd think he might show just a tiny bit of decorum instead of spouting all his egotistical BS on social media. Whether Sirona or Patterson are the best game in town anymore or worth the premium price of admission is irrelevant really. Fact is I think Yeti coolers are ridiculous. Anyone who has one is likely compensating for a small penis and wants to be recognized for their disposable income. That said, I'm not trying to raise an online militia to insult or boycott Yeti or blockade their booth at trade shows to prevent sales. I just continue to pull my drinks from a $20 Coleman with wheels. I'm not sure what he's hoping to gain by trashing people, but his whole "I'm the new sheriff in town" diatribe makes him look petty and irrelevant.

Armen doesn't realize that Corporate American doesn't give a fuck about him or their employees. Here's what you used in dental school - corporations have one goal, to increase shareholders equity.
Armen You can scream like a bitch on FB and claim multi billion dollar corporations are going to fail and crash and burn without you. The reality is they won't. There will be no effect from you being gone and no effect for you posting smack like a 12 year old tween. I think when that multi billion doalr company gets tired of you, you'll receive a certified letter from their legal team threatening a lawsuit if you don't shut the fuck up. Even if you are stupid enough to think you would prevail, it will cost you $150,000 in legal fees to defend yourself.
That's a lot of fillings.

 

Armen and Mark Morin...Yeah..ok..It is so odd to me that the real whores to the industry...i.e, Armen, Mark Morin were ALL about CEREC, Patterson, Sirona...these guys are no longer relevant and to see them both, amongst others, look down their nose, wave their finger at distributors as if anyone cares. Morin used to bank $60k in a weekend training CEREC owners, dude was a legend. Armen used to be a baller but never looked comfortable on the big stage. Men, you had your 15 mins and made alot of coin. Go enjoy it and quit crying.
