    Best Medical Device Company (Midsize)[​IMG]

    CONMED earned the title of best medium-sized medical device company to work for, though it also earned the distinction of having the highest number of votes from its employees.

    Every building in largo division always talks so much $h1t about this.

    "The company is going down, it's never been this bad, they keep lying to us about things getting better"

    When I started there was much more work and so many temps.

    Now there's much less work and no temps where I'm at.

    Rumors of them getting rid if third shift because of how much more they get paid.

    Rumors of them getting rid of a few more positions they feel they don't need.

    Best place to work? Are they kidding.
    New management has no clue as to what is going on or how it works.
    New management has destroyed several departments, low moral.
    New ideas, following the "piller" method? Just what are they thinking. We can't even do our jobs any more
    Can't wait for the next layoff or my boss come up and tell me we are letting you go

    YUP.
    They should get rid of the people that don't work much instead of sending an email to the factory managers that instructs them to let go of X amount of people. That is a popularity contest. These guys got rid of hard working friendly engineers because they just can't get along with them or they didn't like their face. It's really a popularity contest. Douche bags keep the douches close, and get rid of happy people.

    Dear CEO:

    Your company missed quota for Orthopedics every quarter in 2017 and I have a few questions.

    1. Why are you taking large chunks of territory from productive independent agents and giving multiple counties to District Sales Managers with no experience? Example the DM in Maryland.

    2.How many regional manager shuffles have happened since 2016?

    This company is the worst place I have ever worked at. No one on the floor speaks English and is being run by the mean girls club. Coaches are afraid of them and haven't the balls to stand up against them. Quality Control inspectors plant bad work on you if you try to stand against the bullies. When you get fired they make you sign papers that you won't sue them because they know from the top how corrupt the entire company is. They co only, honestly, win a worst place to work award. Feels like you're working with satan's legions!

    They are required to speak english to get hired, are you referring to the janitors?

    We have team leaders now, not coaches. Yes It's' a popularity contest because it makes upper management's job easier to side with the majority and go after a single target (bullying).

    They rolled out a new system where they will evaluate employees individually. That determines if they get a raise, or maybe get fired for scoring very low. I hope it actually works.

    This place sucks because it attracts people that don't have ambitions anymore. They are willing to be apart of the drama/bullying just as long as they get money and one day retire.

    Everyone who quits/gets fired/dies becomes much happier somewhere else...

    Conmed is one of the only medical device companies that has no expenses for their outside salesforce. Sounds pretty cool to drive hundreds of miles a week on your own dime. Even a copy machine salesman gets expenses. I passed on the offer and now compete against CONmed.
