It is a staple of all corporate cultures. At Upsher it is an art form.

It feels like we are still on a ship that's sinking and on fire- even after all the rats have left!

That's just it. The rats are staying. Look at the key doers who left/are leaving. All projects are stopping because key resources are gone.

Don't know who is staying or going, but this place has always had a unique ability to reward those who say the right thing vs those who do the right thing.

"For example, in Japan, age discrimination is not illegal, and it is still common to mention in job advertisements the desired age range of the candidate. In normal business conversation as well, Japanese are much more likely to bring up age than Americans would. Thus, it is often surprising to Japanese to hear that age would be considered an inappropriate question to ask in an interview in the United States." -http://www.japanintercultural.com/en/news/default.aspx?newsid=109

If that article were pertinent to us- they'd fire half of the staff that are left- we aren't the best looking bunch of reps out there! There's some dogs left the good looking ones found jobs already

You were just told by the president himself. In case you missed it...."Over the next few days and weeks, your team leaders will share with you how the one-hundred day transition plan will affect your particular functional area." - you're screwed.

A sales culture that crosses the ethical line? Make this last year the best one.

What the heck are you talking about? If we were any more conservative we would be heading the GOP.

Do you think this manufacturing issue for our samples is real or are they just done supporting us? All I can get my Drs is a few 25s at this point.

Did they ever really support QXR? From what I hear, leadership got paid handsomely for selling the company and are just hanging on BSing the Japanese to milk every cent they can get out of this. They are focused on their next steps, not us or this product or anything else we would ever touch.
