It has been mentioned that due to inVentivs poor success and management that they are being eyeballed to be taken over and or purchased. Does anyone know who is interested in doing this and what will happen to inventivs employees?

Well all you have to do is look at their President, Phase II-IV Development. She is an unmitigated disaster. She failed miserably at her last three companies. It's a wonder how she even got hired there

Are you referring to Ms. DA? Why, her bio on our web-site basically sings praises of her fantastic accomplishments everywhere she's been ... no wonder she was hired here at a lucrative pay (package value just over a million bucks a year plus executive benefits and golden parachute)

How could she possibly fail with her stellar track record ... ;-) ?

Hmmm .... that's surprising, because there have been a spate of promotions and high-level hires in the last 6 months - Senior VPs being brought in at a million dollars a year (total pay package), several people promoted to Senior/Executive Director positions, large bonuses being paid to members of management ... I used to be an Exec Director there a few years back, and stay in touch with peers who have now been bumped up to E-Dir/VP level with large pay raises.

Of course, this could just be the calm before the storm ...

inVentiv has been preparing for a sale for several years. They are owned by a private equity firm, THL Partners, who are professional flippers.

The rampant acquisitions and executive hires have nothing to do with expanded services for clients or "synergy", but rather, they are part of a total package that will appeal to a buyer. This strategy will drive lots of layoffs at the mid-level to drive down fixed costs like salaries.

The company is highly leveraged and at some point the bill will come due. It is being shopped.

INC Research is buying Inventiv Health. Sale is not approved. Not expected until 1st quarter 2018 to know anything. Likely, though.
