Got a call from a recruiter about this company based near NYC. Salary is OK, but I can't seem to find any type of information about them at all. That is a bit of a warning sign to me. Also, their own website is incomplete. That is also a bit scary. However, I do need a job so I am interested if anyone has dealt with them or even heard of them before. It looks like they do your basic toxicology, blood screening, etc. How do these small companies think they can compete against the Quest and Lab Corp people?

    thoughts??

Hard to believe they are using a recruiter, here is my take:

Owned by Hasidics - be careful

Brooklyn based - small lab located in a scary location, wear a flack jacket

Out of network - suspect billing practices

Churn & burn model - poor service

Be prepared to sell in the bowels of the worst neighborhoods

No one with any dignity would work in such a place

    Hope this helps..

Yes! That does help a great deal. It confirms many of my suspicions. Thank you for your thoughts. They were much better than the f#ckt@rds on this thread who I can now laugh at and then take pity on..

    CHEERS!

Not owned by Hasidics. Indian owned. Crooked as hell. Won't be around in the long run.
I worked for an Hasidic owned lab for many years and they have been extremely fair with me and everyone in the company. Don't jump to conclusions just because of who owns a lab.
