They're screwed. Harlow was one of few home office people at Endo that knows the pain market.

The idiot who wrote the previous comment knows nothing. You didn't mention one way to support that Belbuca is a "me too". Belbuca has great potential. There is no other opioid drug that matches its tolerability with the efficacy it provides and is a CIII. Its delivery is unique and allows for 2x efficacy of the patch. Insurance coverage is the problem now, and will be fixed with time. The problem is, does the company have the financial stability to wait for the prescriptions to build.

    hello
My doctor just prescribed belbuca for me. I have med d and the pa was approved. My questions is I think my starting dose is too high and I worry about resp depression. I have been taking 30 mg of oxycodone per day sometimes 40 I get 100 tabs per month. I'm cold turkey off oxy and on Tylenol codeine #4 while waiting on my Rx to be filled. Doc started me on 450 mcg. Literature states it should be lower. Thoughts?

ENDO no longer has Belbuca. BDSI does. However, respiratory depression is much less with the active ingredient in Belbuca (buprenorphine), than it is with oxycodone. 450 mcg is a common dose.

Also, stop abusing narcotic painkillers. Take as prescribed, and you won't be using a "cough, cough" prescribed substitute to get through withdrawals
