Now that the sprints are done, and plan, build, run (PBR) is executing, it's time to reflect.

BMS TV breaks down for the all employee meeting. It's not like it was surprise. Another black eye for IT credibility. That makes a second one lest we forget about the failure of the telecon system for the quarterly investors call.

Lean Digital CoE is shopping around tech looking for problems. Shouldn't it be the other way around? So much for PBR. The Lean in Lean Digital, stands for... wait the leadership doesn't know shit about Lean but it's a cool buzzword!!

Financial governance is slower than ever. NO ACTUALS!?! IT'S JULY!!!! [ Here's a prediction: Huge favorability at year-end caused by slow processes but lots of credit being taken at the top for controlling spend. ]

What's the point of the Enterprise Architecture reviews? We still don't have a clue what is expected in a review and what the outcomes will be. Nice discussions, but airy fairy wandering. So much for speed and agility.

Shouldn't RPA be the responsibility of the UX group who is struggling to solve problems? Makes more sense than LD CoE shopping it around.

Accenture!?! Again. Really? Expensive and mediocre. No competitive structures. And a relationship managed by contract and SLAs. So much for speed and agility.

BMS is great company, (We are curing cancer!!!) and there is a IT organization that desperately wants to be amazing. But the LEADERSHIP HAS TO GO !!!

I doubt it was a leader who made the wrong real-time bandwidth decision that crashed BMS-TV. Enterprise Architecture reviews are intended for YOU to help streamline the architecture and stop the growth of custom solutions that kill your team's productivity. Lean Digital is an extra set of eyes and methods to help YOU drive efficiency in places where you've been given more to do with fewer resources. Your post sounds like you are an L5 or L6 level, you must be leading, so go that next step in your thinking, because you are a leader. What ways can you help get our operations to line up with what is, actually, a solid strategy? I get it that some things are unclear, but wiping out the leaders will not fix that. It takes time and people with resolve.
