    This is actually true which is a break through for Sparky! In Al Franken's 'Giant of the Senate' he makes an interesting case for publicly funded election. His contention (other than the 'buying a politician' aspect) is the amount of time and energy spent on fund raising vs working on bills and governing issues.

    Interesting and unconstitutional. Something needs to be done but public funding of elections is a horrible idea.

    You're right about one of your two statements. Some people love golf - they're golf fiends, some people love fishing -- they're fishing fanatics and I love sex.     So you can't wait to be corrected! Well that's great cause you're about to be.

    The fact is that Trump has been quite successful with his agenda so far. Would it be much nicer if circumstances had been better for him? Yes, of course. If he had better leadership in the House and Senate it would be nice. But purely in terms of rolling back Obama's executive orders, rolling back regulations which has helped the economy and jobs and getting Gorsuch on the SCOTUS, his agenda is progressing quite well. Even the immigration situation has improved somewhat and he's getting his travel ban to a great extent.

    Quit being so hysterical and learn how to look at things objectively. Don't be a dumb bot!
