Does anyone know how long it will take to get your interview expenses reimbursed? I took a garsh darn day of vacation and drove quite a distance. It would be nice to at least get my mileage etc. check.

I didn't get a call so I at this point I am sure moving on would be best. Congrats to those the got the job but man was this hiring handled in an unprofessional way! They are going ask us (and them) to make a multi-year career move based on a 1 hour interview with legal oops I mean HR present? I couldn't even "talk" with the hiring manager.

Good luck to all those that got a position. I am sure GSK is a better company than the way they treated the interview!

I can't help but vent and I get it that the interview process was a cattle call but are they really going to make a hiring decision based on an hour interview? Sure you can eliminate some people in 30 seconds but an hour doesn't even leave time for questions. I was given 10 minutes to go through my over 15 years of experience. Less than a minute a year? For real? If you can explain your accomplishments in 10 minutes you aren't the right person for the job.

Role play on a fake product? They must be expecting to hire newbies. Maybe cheaper reps are the way to go to launch a new product. Who knows?

No, they are not a better company than they demonstrated in the interviews, and they are getting worse every day. GSK is not the company it used to be, not by a long shot.

A post from a bitter former employee that is still mad for getting canned.

Yes, there are many around today that carry a chip on their shoulder. They should be looking for another job and stay off this site.

Don't set yourself up for misery. Terrible job, company and culture. It's a micromanaging nightmare. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

SEE ABOVE : This is a common post from a fired rep with low sales skills and probably low people skills. They are bewildered that a company did not love them.

I was fired for giving the bl/ack janitor oral pleasure in the stall. He holds record for the first test tube baby in the 90s.
They called junior, Janitor in a drum.

Well..... this is the week we should actually hear if you got a offer or not.....!

I gotta think they went out already. Of course, everything else was handled in such an odd fashion maybe I am wrong. Not many people on here said they got an offer so maybe not???

If they wanted to give the person a day or two to consider and then they have to conduct background checks....they would have to get them out right away.

True, but the position doesn't start until August 1. So they technically could make an offer this week and then do background checks and have everything wrapped up early/mid July in time for the candidate to submit 2 weeks notice at their current employer. You never know.
