    Hello,

Does anyone know what is the average salary of a ACAS or CAS? How much do they make in commission/bonus etc? Is it a big difference in salary wise between ACAS and CAS?

Any insight on this will be helpful. I wish to apply but if I get rough idea what I am aiming for would be helpful.

    Thanks,

I was told its around 70k + 25k commission for CAS, is it true?

ACAS Base around 60k + zero commission
    CAS I 60-70k + 30k commission
    CAS II 70-80k + 40k commission
    CAS III-V lot more commission

0 commission for everything up to 80% sales quota, a third paid out for 80-90% quota, and two-thirds for 90-100%. So really, you'd need to get above 90% to make money.

The biggest difference is that ACAS positions are not permanent in the assigned territory. They are expected to move regionally in the next 12 months to an open CAS position.

This division is JNJ fastest growing and most lucrative division right now. 300-500k or more is there for some reps. If you a full line rep and make under 250 you failed.

    70 to 300 is a big spread

Call HR and do not be so stupid as to ask on a thread. There are other stringent requirements you probably will not meet.

Clinicals at Biosense are making close to 190-240k range
Sales Reps at Biosense are in the 200-300++ range
Managers at Biosense make 1% on their regions plus base and bonus and some regions are producing 30-60 million in business. Thats a 500-700k job

I know this because if you look at jobs in Oursource you can see the hiring manager and the HR internal recruiter on the job posting. Just call that HR rep and ask about the money.

I work as a level 3 CAS. My salary is 230K. That’s base plus bonus money. Level 3 is the highest level CAS you can be. Hope this helps.

I’ve been working as a level 1 CAS straight out of university (no nursing background or ATI) for a little over a year and make $76,000/year plus $32,000 commission. Training takes around 6 months to 1 year and during that time, I made $70,000 plus $0 commission. It’s a pretty sweet job!

I know this is old but it's relevant to me.
What is the next step from CAS 3? Can a CAS 3 become a manager or is that only for sales? TIA
